Rogue Beekeeping

Back in the day, skeps were all the rage.

Today, they are illegal in most places (like Pennsylvania) where hive health inspections are mandatory. But you can still find people who make them if you decide to go rogue.

Pleasedon't decide to go rogue and try to set skeps. They are impossible to open and inspect brood and were banned for that reason.

With American foulbrood cases on the rise any undetected cases could potentially wipe out not only all your bees but others as well.
